The S-Bahn Berlin has launched a new initiative to address hygiene and passenger comfort by deploying teams comprising one cleaner and two security personnel. These teams operate during eight-hour shifts to remove waste, address sanitary issues, and handle disruptive or intoxicated passengers. The program aims to increase safety and cleanliness, with plans to expand the project to four teams operating around the clock on various lines by August.
