A humpback whale, which had been stranded on the Danish island of Anholt for three weeks, underwent an autopsy performed by researchers and biologists. Despite careful examination, measurement, and dissection, scientists were unable to determine the cause of death; however, they noted the whale did not appear to have been ill or to have consumed any foreign objects. The remains will be removed in containers, and results from tissue samples are expected in the coming months.
