A daily Rundown digest email showing summarised uploads from the creators you follow

More content than you can possibly keep up with.

Your subscription feed is unreadable. Your Watch Later, your podcast queue, your unread newsletters, they all keep growing. The algorithm shows you what it wants, not what you came for.

Every 45-minute video, every 90-minute podcast, every 3,000-word essay is a gamble, one useful insight buried in filler, or nothing at all. The knowledge is out there. The time to find it isn't.

Find yourself in Rundown

Most people use YouTube for a few specific reasons. Whichever one is yours, Rundown is designed for the way you actually watch.

A calm morning email.
A growing knowledge library.

01

Connect your first source

Today, that's YouTube. Pick the channels you trust. Podcasts, newsletters, and audiobooks roll out next. We only read what you tell us to. No write access, no data sharing.

02

New uploads get summarised automatically

When a creator posts, our AI generates a structured summary with key points, timestamps, and a "worth your time if..." recommendation.

03

Read your digest, dive into what matters

Every morning, one email with everything you missed. Scan it in 2 minutes. Spend time only on what deserves it.

04

Your library grows

Every summary becomes a searchable entry in your personal knowledge base. The longer you stay, the more you know.

Different content, different structure

A lecture deserves concepts and references. A recipe deserves ingredients and steps. A debate deserves positions and cruxes. Rundown reads each video and extracts it into the shape that matches its content, with timestamps to jump straight to the moment that matters.

Every idea you've encountered, one search away

Every summary becomes a permanent entry in your personal library. Search across months of content in seconds. Find that one quote you remember half of. That investing thesis from three months ago. That cooking technique you almost forgot.

Frequently asked questions

We request read-only access to one thing: your YouTube channel subscriptions, so you can pick which ones to summarise. The exact Google permission scope is youtube.readonly.

We cannot post videos or comments, modify your subscriptions or playlists, see your watch history, or access any other Google service. Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Photos are all off-limits to us.

Yes, in one click. Inside Rundown, go to Settings and click "Disconnect Google Account." This stops all future processing immediately and deletes our access tokens. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google Account security page. That path doesn't require visiting Rundown at all.

No. We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing, your email, your subscription list, and your account data stay with us only. When we generate summaries, we send the publicly available YouTube video content to AI model providers, not your personal data. Summaries themselves are stored as a shared resource tied to the video, so your "library" is simply a personalised view over which summaries you've followed. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

Rundown is an AI-powered YouTube summarizer and personal knowledge feed. It monitors the YouTube channels you follow, summarises every new upload with key points, timestamps, and a "worth your time if…" verdict, and delivers everything as one daily email digest. Every summary becomes a searchable entry in your personal knowledge library.

Browser extensions like Eightify, Glasp, and Recall summarise one video at a time, on demand, while you're watching. Rundown monitors all your subscribed channels automatically, summarises new uploads as they go live, and delivers everything in one daily email. There's no extension to install and no per-video clicking. Every summary is also permanently archived and searchable, so your knowledge compounds instead of disappearing after one watch.

Rundown has a free tier with 15 summaries per month, unlimited channels, and the searchable library. No credit card required. Plus is $9.99/month (or $83.99/year billed annually) for 150 summaries with the daily digest email. Max is $29.99/month (or $20.99/month billed annually) for 500 summaries with priority processing.

We use state-of-the-art large language models to analyse the underlying content and produce structured summaries. The output includes a concise overview, key points, timestamps where they apply, and a recommendation on whether it's relevant to you.

Not at all. Rundown helps you preview what's in any piece of content so you can decide what to engage with and jump straight to the most relevant parts. Think of it as a table of contents for everything you follow. It makes the time you do spend more intentional, not less.

Today Rundown summarises YouTube uploads. Podcasts, newsletters, and audiobooks are on the roadmap, the goal is one searchable library of summaries from every source you trust, regardless of medium.
